healthy eating tips

9 tips to healthy eating

Physical activity
A good balance between exercise and food intake is important, as it helps to take care of a healthy body weight. About 30 minutes of physical activity, such as walking, is recommended every day.

Reduce Salt
Minimize salt in foods, and use salt sparingly.

Cooking methods
Use cooking methods that minimize the risk of cancer by adding fruits, herbs, vinegar, spices.

Fruits and vegetables
Fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that help protect the body against diseases and even cancer.

Eat nutrient-rich foods
Eat a assortment of nutrient-rich foods. People need more than forty different nutrients for good health. Your daily food selection should include bread and other whole-grain products, fruits, vegetables, dairy products and meat, fish, poultry and other protein foods. The amount you should eat depends on your calorie needs.

Eat regular meals
Eat regular meals, if possible at regular intervals or periods during the day. Leaving out meals can lead to out-of-control hunger, which often brings to overeat.

Meat and fish
Meat and fish are good for health. However, you must eat not too much of red meat, as these are likely to make you develop bowel cancer and kidney stones. White meat, fish, and poultry are good alternatives.

Eat Variety
Add spice to your life. Eat a variety of foods. They will provide you with a wide range of nutrients.

Drink water
Drink at least two liters of water or other liquid (non-alcoholic) per day. Liquid drink will help to flush your system and minimize your chances of having kidney stones. It will also help to keep your skin supple and fresh.

Inspirational videos

        After the previous post about a positive attitude, I want you to watch these two wonderful and inspirational videos. Watch them, smile, be positive - like it’s sad in one of these videos: “Be positive! What you think, is who you become!”

So “Dream. Dream big.

             Feel it.

                   Believe it.

                          Achieve it.”

P.S.    The second video is from the movie “The Secret”, if you haven’t seen it yet, then I strongly recommend you to watch it. It’s a great movie about the power of attraction and positive attitude

Positive attitude

        In this post, I would like to talk more detailed about seeing your goal and feeling positive emotion moving towards to it. I have forgotten to talk about it in the previous post, actually this story will be quite similar to the previous, but with some new thoughts.

Like you know from previous posts:

    First, you need to have a reason to start;
    Second, you need a motivation to do this;
   And now I’d like to speak about a positive attitude:

        Without the attitude, you won’t reach your goal. Remember that the right attitude is a halfway to your goal. Like I wrote in the previous post (start a healthy lifestyle) you need to get yourself a motivation, and then you need to reach it. By imagining and seeing your result it would be much, much easier to achieve it. You have a good goal - a positive goal, then smile towards it. Have you imagined those specific and wonderful emotions, which you’ll feel, when you’ll achieve your goal? Now remember them! These emotions will help you to achieve your main goal. It’s what I call a positive attitude.

        You know how it’s told: “Smile will help you!” Be optimistic, positive and it won’t take long to make your dream come true!

You know what you want - you’ve got your goal;

You got the right motivation, which will help you to achieve your goal;

So now we can add one more point to our steps to the healthy lifestyle:

1) find a reason
2) imagine your result
3) motivate yourself
4) stay focused on your goal.
5) do everything with a positive attitude

Till next time!

start a healthy lifestyle

        After writing about a healthy lifestyle in the first post, now I’d like to speak about reasons, why it’s necessary to start living healthy. Because without a reason you won’t get the motivation, which will bring you towards and will help you to start a new life.

GPA7D3BUJDUH
There are thousands of reasons why to start a healthy living.

For example:
You’re overweight so you want to get fit.
You’re feeling older than you really are, or maybe weaker than you think you are.
You don’t like your body, but you want to get ready for the beach.

        Well, I can continue by writing these reasons, but I guess you’ve got the point. Anyone can find at least one reason for making his life better by feeling good and healthy.

        After finding the reason, imagine the result, which you’ll get after starting a healthy lifestyle. For example, if you want to lose weight, then don’t focus on your overweight, better focus on a result, imagine how good will you feel when you’ll get your desired shape. It’s like a good doctor, who doesn’t focus on his patient’s illness, but instead of that, he’s focusing on his patient recovery. So think about your desired result - make it your goal and become a doctor for yourself!

        Stay focused on your goal – remind yourself day to day about it, so laziness won’t take over you and after some while you’ll be surprised how natural it has become for you to apply your new healthy habits in your everyday life.

        And don’t forget that by starting living fit, you’ll show a very good example for your family members and your friends.

To sum up:

1) find a reason
2) imagine your result
3) motivate yourself
4) stay focused on your goal.

what is a healthy lifestyle

So what's actually is a healthy lifestyle?

    The short answer would be the right eating, fresh air and sport exercises. It sounds easy, doesn't it? I think that how easy or how difficult it is, we only know when we try to apply those things in our everyday life, because in the today's fast life not always we can follow these simple steps. However, even if it may seem to be difficult, you should remember that difficult doesn’t mean impossible.

    I personally know one man, who is older than 60 years, who quit smoking after 40 years of this bad habit, and now he is jogging three times a week, eating healthy food and is spending more time in the fresh air. He told me, that the most difficult thing for him to start a healthy lifestyle, was to stop smoking, but after he has done that now he feels fantastic. And that is only one story from million of similar stories, which proves us that it is achievable.

So a healthy lifestyle is:

- Healthy eating
- Sport exercises
- Fresh air
- Using vitamins
- Good sleeping

In my next posts, I will tell about all those and many other important points more detailed.

    I have started this blog to put in one place all valuable information, which I know about healthy lifestyle to discipline myself, and to help my readers in their way to a fit living.

    Remember that healthy lifestyle is living without sickness, excess weight, living in harmony with your mind, body, soul and universe.

A good goal, isn’t it?
